Your a dribbling little wanker!!! Ah. I see you've learnt some British colloqualisms. But think of your blood pressure! At your time of life you shouldn't get yourself worked up so. You had to leave the UK cause they couldn't stand your Hawkeyes Suck! either. Who couldn't stand what? Anyway, I like being in Piter, it's a fun and exciting place to be. You don't need to be a Russian citizen to live for the long-haul there - if you get a PRP there's no need to take citizenship. I could explain all the ins and outs of it all, but I'm sure it would be too complicated for you. Eh? The pre-war/June 22nd army (i.e all the youngies) was virtually wiped out in 41, so they drafted in what was left. However, even then, it was much more likely that someone of your advanced years would be in a Opolchenye (Workers Battalion). Silliness - all knowledge has to come from some source. For example, unless you really had been in the British Army of the 1940's you would have had to learn what they looked like from a secondary source. It's just that I'm sure even you would agree that my sources are really rather good to say the least. It's just that I have the added problem of translating it all. Maybe you have better contacts than me? I couldn't possibly say.... No, that's for making a Militsya winter gim. Ever hung around on Nevsky in the middle of winter? Well, that's what Militsya are doing right at this moment, and I can tell you it's cold - so the gims are made from thick wool. But fair's fair, as you've rightly said I've 'parroted' this off my sources, some of who are in the present day Militsya. So relax old man! I'm not telling anyone any falsehoods here!

Too bad I didn't read it. So you wasted all your effort past the first line!!!!
HA HA
I reenact the RKKA, not the present day anything, farbazz!!! Your such an idiot. That is why your impressions suck!!!
You need to try doing WW2, with WW2 information. You have no clue what your talking about, cause they didn't know, so you can't parrot correct stuff.
Damz you dumb!!

You misinterpreted me (deliberately) being Militsya is their real life job, but they also reenact 1940's Militsya.
But anyway - I just need to clarify what you're saying...
Who is 'they' exactly?

They are anyone that is giving you, your spoon fed, incorrect modern info. If your such an r tard that you buy off on all of it, well that is your shortcoming!
Making a uniform, out of the wrong material for personal comfort, is the definition of farb!!
You will not live that one down!!! You showed what an uneducated farb that you are!!!
You slammed Igor of the 49th Guards. He has done more for RKKA reenacting than you have.
He has a desire to make reenacting better, without your UK attitude that permeates your posts. That is why I said, your not Russian or never will be. Your a nasty little farb with a fragile ego.
I have served in the US military, I am an American. Those things do not make me any better at doing a GI impression. You have to do research for that. You seem to believe that moving to Russia, has made you an instant expert. That is the stupidest BS that I have heard anyone spout.
You truly are stupid!!!

Because I know that when someone starts getting on in years, they can sometimes get in a muddle, so I've made it very easy and put my response in numbered points.
1. It's not the wrong material for those kinds of gims. If you're so knowledgeable about the Militsya prove it otherwise. Truth be told, they're rather itchy.
2. You've not really answered my question. Who specifically do you think it is giving me "spoon fed, incorrect modern info" ?
3. My 'UK' attitude? What is that exactly?
4. I've never claimed to be Russian. Why do you keep thinking I have been?
5. It wasn't instant - at all - it took about a year of going to gigs, aquiring kit, and so on, I'm not an expert, but I know people who are.
6. We've still yet to see a photo - but maybe you don't have sufficent courage for that?

Okay - I'll try and put it another way, because this whole Militsya gim issue (a portrayal, which incidentally you've never done) seems to be obsessing you. In your opinion, this is farby? Simple question - yes or no?

Let me waste my time. I will try to teach you something about being authentic in the world of thread counters.
You want to make tunics out of blanket wool, and call it correct. You can't show me one.
The original tunics you have shown, were not made of wool that you tried to say was authentic, from a UK vendor.
You cannot produce an original gym in the wool, that you swear is authentic.
Anything that is authentic is made of the same material as an original, or it is farb.
If you don't think this is wrong, then you are a farb.
If you don't understand that this is wrong, then you are stupid.
I will let you choose.
I have had your lifetime to learn how to reenact. Your a pup, quit trying to screw with me, as your way behind me in the game.

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!!!!!!!!
What I am speaking of now is so far above your , "is an M44 pouch that I got with 90.00 rifle correct" mentality. That you have to lash out like the idiot that you are.
I am showing that there is no intelligent conversation here. Just a crybaby babbling insults.
Shut up, dumbazz, your showing how stupid you are!!!

What's this then? It's a summer weight gim - and those guys (Espenlaub) come from Estonia - I thought you said you were better at research? I've just shown you otherwise. Like your gim yes? Still waiting on a pic! Oh Gawd, that old chestnut of; "I've been standing in fields wearing old clothing since nineteen canteen." Unfortunately it's not the length of time that matters - it's what you do with it that counts.

Your still not understanding. Can you show me an original gym in the flesh, not a photo, that is of 24 oz wool?
I think that you incapable of understanding this thought. It is basic to all Civil War reenacting. It is what people ask about when they say, how close is it to an original?
They worry about the wieght (the thickness of the cloth) and the color.
Your showing everyone but your dumbazz self, what you don't know about being authentic. You too stupid to realize that your doing it.
That is the best part of this exchange!!!
