Thanks ;D It is a custom built. I did it in high school shop class in 2004 fourth quarter of senior year.

If you do have the plans please post them. I'm guessing this is on jeep chassis.

First we made a mock up of carboard and built it right on the frame and fitted it all so it look right. Then I traced it on to steel and cut it out and welded it all together. Not as simple as it sounds, but that is the basics. We built this one on the frame of a 1957 Willys panel truck.

Tom,
Would it be possible to get measurements and some how to information? Currently a few friends are looking for a donor vehicles and we are very interested. We are thinking about a BA-64 or SDKFZ 222.

Thats awesome my man. If I could afford the steel (I run a brake press at work, where there is aslo a CNC sheet laset and another cooming in, and a tube laser with another comming in, but employee discounts are unheard if with the way steel is going these days ;D) I'd do it in a heartbeat. Congragulations.

I have spoken to, and gotten permission from Tovarisch Sarzhent Limona, to post the pictures she has sent to me of the kit she is putting together for the BA-64b. Per that discussion, anyone who is interested in a kit from her, may contact her at: K8lyn2u@aol.com [/img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v614/HorseSoldier176/BA-64b/007.jpg In the next set I will post the interior shots. Tovarischii, Thank you for your kind words and support, I work simply for the Victory of the Soviet People over the Gitlerite Cannibals and all their Fascist minions....and driving/riding beats walking!
The DIVA Arsenal BA64b offering is a BASIC hull and turret kit designed to fit MB/GPW, CJ2A, CJ3B, M38, M38A1, and pre-1969 CJ5 chassis/running gear. Lights, horns, and many details are left to the discretion of the end user. It is dimensionally correct, based on the resources I have encountered in the last 5 years of study, but requires a certain amount of welding/fabrication skill on the part of the end user. We have spent the time and $$ to properly CAD the plates, and intend to produce them only as long as interest holds. They are available in 3/16ths steel, or 1/4" by special order only. The 3/16ths kit weighs 1150 lbs and we ship on two pallets by truck freight or you can pick up in Evansville IN by prior arrangement. The price of steel changes constantly, but the current cost of the 3/16ths kit is $4000 plus actual shipping. We take certified funds, Visa/MC, and cash American.
