Told you guys it was cool, huh?  I wonder if she'll have it ready for the MVPA National Convention in Evansville in August? Any of y'all coming? AFAIK, the 19GMB will have a camp, display, or something. Yuri IIRC that is the same weekend as the big Airshow round here. They are talking about these kits. Oh, and the one that is selling for $11,000.00 is a get in, and drive it away, completely serviceable, painted, and with re-pop DT-28 weapon in the turret.

I did see some pix of one that was yet unpainted and also still had rust on the frame... I hope that is not the one we are talking about and that in fact was merely a prototype of a finished product. That one was not worth 11k$, even if the person who built it is a nice gal or guy.
On the other hand, in a capitalistic society, the final price is what the market will allow, regardless of the value of the product, perceived or otherwise.

Tovarischi, What in the name of Stalin is going on?  "....trying to get in her pants!" ?? What kind of sillyness is this? ?? Some of the comments are way of base and had better cease NOW!!!!!!Some of you had better get a grip on it and control the goofyness or I can start taking steps to clean up the mess. Now the photos of the BA 64 are ones of the unfinished product dating back to earlier this summer back at the first part of June. Personally since I am a fellow who likes to construct things I am very pleased and impressed with the BA64 project so far. It is good to see such efforts taking place. For those who don't like it or do not appreciate the time, money and effort already put into such a project should simply avoid the topic. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes so get over it. Taking pot shots and personal shots is not going to happen in the research areas anymore!!!!!I am getting tired of having to jump around the the differrent sections following certain parties and trying ot put out the fires. Knock off the grab arse crap and personal shots in this and the other research sections. Like I said before either take it off list or to the heated discussions section. Comrades, the frame was what was available/on hand to place the welded body on when Katya finished up the first unit. (I think all of us would have been just a little excited if we had done it!) I will be seeing it this weekend, and will snap some pics if you want.

That would be great, Yuri, I had the feeling those were prototype pix... and not the finished product. I am sure we would all like to see pix of this as it goes through its fvarious stages of developement, and of course, pix of the final product as well. We of course all hope for the progress of this endeavor! its is not as if we have alot of people doing this kind of work in the hobby, and my hat is off to anyone who puts in the time and energy to make it happen.
So please, take and post copious gobs of pix here after your sojorn!

Dima I think is the only one that can add pix to his archives so you will have to send them to him for those archive-forums... not sure how to upload pix to this one ...
