I was referring to Trident Military, not Front of Russia...

After my Trident nightmare, I ordered from Alex. Wonderful price, good products, decent service. My pilotka came a size too small for my egg-head. But I got trigger mittens. My shinel came with rank a little bit too high for this lowly Corporal! But darn are those pogori gorgeous! Also got ushanka, belt, canteen & cover, and a breadbag.

So if you don't mind my asking, how much cabbage did you have to exchange for the total package? Nice Pogori! perhaps illustrious Otryada Serzhant will want to trade something for them...
Sounds like your kit is nearing completion!
Any suggestions on how to order from them? I need to get a Telogreika or Shinel also and a perhaps a couple other items.
What was the turnaround time from order to delivery?
Volodymyr
ps to anyone... would these new pogori Komrade Korporal Velodya is displaying regular or would they be considered parade/dress pogori... pps it appears the pogori have the cavalry metal insignia on them as well... is that so?

Yes that is so.
This set me back about 200 rubles, not bad at all. It did take a month and a half to reach me though. Thats still far better than my Trident experience.
If ordering, be very clear about what you want and provide exact metric sizes. If possible, over-estimate the size a little in case a smaller one is sent.

Spaceba!
I will be ordering in secret during a banned religious ceremonial observance perhaps while on duty here in Siberia as a reward for my continuing to practice counter-revolutionary religious practices.
Translation: If I can scrap together the rubles I may reward myself this Christmas with an order. Did you have to remind then or just wait patiently?

Waiting patiently seems to work, maybe with a single email two weeks or so after the order.
Remember, Christmas is okay for events after 1942!

Komrade Konstantin; I am sorry to disagree with you, but I have placed two order with FOR. The first one had items of the wrong size, or items that were missing all together. Alex attributed this to his staff who do not read English. Alex, then promised to make it right, if I would give him a second chance. So I did, I placed a second order. Alex told me he would ship the corrected items from the first order, with my second order. Nothing ever arrived. Alex blamed it on the postal service overseas. I deal with other people, both vendors, and friends in Russia, and the Ukraine. Yes, compared to the U.S. postal service, theirs is slow, expensive, and incompetent, but to blame the fact that nothing ever arrived on the post, and just let it drop at that, seems unprofessional to me. Leshod Tovarischi; Two of my subordinate troops did order, and were satisfied, and one of our now lost troopers was also singing the praises of Comrade Alexey, so I will give him one last "at bat". I have placed an order, and will now see what happens. What I ordered, I need by the end of Jan for an event here in PA. That gives him two months to get it together, and shipped. If this comes through, and is correct, I will consider him for future orders, if this order is bollixed, he is forever done in my book. Will keep you apprised! Boridin, Serzhant Otryada aka Leshod

Question for all the "Front of Russia" guys. That is to say, those who have dealt with him often.
What is the "normal" turn around time for his orders?
I placed my order in late Nov, and have yet to receive anything from him, other than assurances that it is "on its way".

Sounds about right, three months, nothing but assurances. There was someone on a UK Red Army list that was left waiting months. Now that Schuster has his site up in English with US$ pricing I think it is safe to say I will never deal with FOR again. Comrade Sgt., if you get your goods from Alex, consider yourself blessed, lucky, etc.

Yes FOR was rather sketchy it seemed, i've talked to him a few times via email about orders i wished to purchase but never followed thru b/c it seemed like i might end up on the short end of the deal.
I would avoid him at all costs.
