I am posing this as a question? I feel I have noticed a decline in the fevor of RKKA type activities. I don't believe that our drive is what it was a few years ago. The community felt stronger at that point. I would hope that the loss of a couple of 8th Guards leaders didn't or wouldn't make that much difference. I am not saying those people didn't have an impact. I am just saying things feel different. Anyone elses thoughts?

Martin,
I would agree that your observations are correct. Since the disappearance of Dan Welch and others, effective communication and coordination between units and regions has dropped drastically.
In the 416th we try to keep everyone in the loop of what is going on in our neck of the woods. I just wish more units would be more forth coming about events and goings on. I have several area CO's on our mailing list, and I believe they get our updates, maybe they delete them without reading. LOL I just never hear anything back from them.
We need to all work together, leaving no one behind. Whether it's a secondary soviet impression, a mainstream soviet impression or an campaign style one, there is a need to work together for the collective good of the hobby. There is room for everyone and no one is beyond help, unless they refuse, then that becomes an issue.
We are the smallest of the major powers reenacted. Thus it requires a little more work than the others.
So to boil it down. You hit the nail on the head.
