Okay, now that I read how much you think I suck, I do think this board could be really cool. It could kick the crap out of the yahoo groups with some advertising.
I looked at 416th signature to find it.

Martin,
Thank you for your words of encouragement.
I think you know my issues with the other board better than anyone, probably even many folks in my own unit. Especially with a certain girlfriend mod protecting her boyfriends postings to allow him to save face. LOL
Throughout life I found it better to be objective than subjective. Over there too much is subjective. It happens in life and folks deal with it in different ways.
I appreciate your advertising help. We did "spam" the yahoo groups with the initial launch of this. Perhaps it's time to "bump" those threads again.
We need some folks with knowledge on 1970's and 80's red army anyways. I have been a buying fool. LOL Wave of the future. Jump the bandwagon or be run over by it. Hehehehehe

Igor is probably one of the best on that. 70's-80's Red Army. He was there. ;D I put this out on some of the yahoo groups and the UK reenactors board. The thing that is great as many of you know, the topics are easier to keep track of on this format. Posting photos is alot easier also. I only brought some of my postings here. If you anyone has other neat info, this is a good place to put it. What we did on the WW2 board is had those banners made and asked to have them put on peoples links. That may have been the most instrumental thing to promote growth.

I have been torqued off a few times but that is part of the fun. Just like Kons I have issues with how some of the mods handle things on the WWII forums. At times it has been downright frustrating. I strive for a happy medium between the wild west and a dictatorship when it comes to forums. I am a firm believer in the right tool for the right job and that each forum has its place on the web. The WWII forum is packed full of useful information and has its place. This forum is set up to fill the voids for the Soviet Re-enactor. I take my research seriously and after 23 years of re-enacting various time periods all over the country I have seen all manner of re-enactor from the best to the worst and it has been a hoot. Sincerely, Dima (one of the Crazies)
