Funeral for the Truth

The Majority of the HRS has a pretty good idea what happend and most don't seem to be consumed by it or have moved on. They'd rather focus on trying to fix things that may be/ or what they see as broke and reenacting rather than getting bogged down by some precived political intrigue. I've said what I've said here and on the Midwest Board and I REFUSE TO COMMENT ANY FURTHER HERE, SINCE IT'S LIKE TALKING TO A BLACK HOLE.

I figure some of the comments were directed at me eventhough I wasn't named...

3. There is some massive “Secret Agenda” that 2 individuals were planning that would dismantle the HRS and then a new organization would rise from the ashes like the Phoenix. The BOD keeps using this one but never once has any pre April 2006 evidence been shown. The BOD has been asked about this numerous times and all they will say is “there is a Secret Agenda”. My feeling is that it was the BOD that impeached a sitting president that had the “Secret Agenda”.

4. Another current BOD member has the complete story also but since the current “NON-President” of the HRS has chose to release his version which includes many non-truths(other may call them something else) this BOD member states he will not release his information.

5. I also know that the current BOD wants the past to be in the past. The members have no need to know and that is the way they want it. Too bad they do not realize that the future is based on the past so what do you think the future will bring.

6. Meetings: It seems there are rumors of several meetings to take place this weekend. There are rumors of at least 3 different meetings taking place this weekend to discuss where to go from here. A couple of them are rumored to be up north.

So what do we know now about the happenings from April. Well really nothing. It is a mystery why the BOD chose to remain quiet on this. Especially since this is the biggest problem that has hit the HRS for a while. Some of the BOD feel that they have been unduly attacked for the lack of the release of information. I will say it here and now that all I and several others have ever asked is WHAT HAPPENED not attack. What we got in return was to be called stooges. The BOD really blew it. They have always insisted that there were only 2 sides in this matter, The BOD and those that sided with the impeached president. The BOD failed to recognize the organization that they represent has a right to know. There was a large group of far more than 5 or 6 of us that all we were after was the truth about what went on. Go back up and read that last sentence again it truly is meaningful.

The majority of the HRS will never know what happened. That is sad. The truth is buried and the funeral is over. All that will remain is a marker over the grave, “The Truth Died in April”. The cover-up continues. My responses to this matter have concluded.

b) your breath in asking,
c) his breath in answering.

Bollow can only speculate. That is also true, to an extent, of my answers.

I must admit I'd like too see a lot more documentary evidence on this point too than has been given to me until now.

This is the essence of what happened as I understand it. The old board claimed that there was an ochastrated campaign against them by certain individuals and that was instigated by the "Gang of Two'. They genuinely believe this. There is no convincing them that they were wrong. You may call it paranoia. They would say it's not paranoia if they are out to get you.

The problem is, I have not seen too many e-mails confirming this. I have asked. The Board - of which I was not at that time a part - claimed that they have these e-mails. I'm still trying to get copies. I asked again on Tuesday.

If you are refering to me - please name me, I'm not going to take any action other than trying to answer you.

I've given you my understanding of why they did it. That's what you wanted. I did say, you would not like the answer. It also seems that you do not belive me.

Can you franking well blame us? Look the amount of time and energy we waste on this issue is un-frelling believable!

The are other issues that face the HRS that do need our attention. I'm much more interested in improving safety and authenticity. I don't want people being injured at events.

Only one meeting that I am aware of will take place - up north - at Rockford and that will be the regular board meeting. Yes. I will make sure that your concerns are brought up at that meeting.

Others will, I'm sure, spring to the defence of Tim and Randy saying the old board made them do it.

I have repeated stated that I consider it is not only the right but also the duty of people to ask questions. I will also say what I used to tell my students - "If you still don't understand, then I obvoiusly didn't explain it properly". In this respect I feel that I have failed.

I'm sorry that you feel that way. I have spent time wading through the evidence that has been given to me, it's mostly boring. It shows the problem with electronic communication - people misinterperate what is said and start shouting at one another. It gets rather childish. On both sides. Does it rasie to the level that the old board believed it did? That is difficult to say. They, however, believed that it did and took why they thought was their only action to save a split.

Now you're going to say, well why not simply let Tim Scherrer off and let him back into the Society and apologies to Randy Palmer (who was only removed as President)? Well, I don't know if we'd have the votes on the new board to do that. Certainly not on the old board. I do know, if we did there would be a revolt from other units who do not care for Randy or Tim. So it's the old 'rock and a hard place' time.
