Red Army/Soviet/Combloc leather rifle case??

Hey guys,

I've been ALL over the web, emailing collectors, dealers, discussion boards and a few retailers as well to try to identify this mysterious rifle case!

There are no markings on it whatsoever, adding to the frustration.

It's a REALLY nice case, making me think that perhaps it's for transporting a sniper rifle?

The gray makes me think "East German" for some reason... There are so many camouflage patterns out there; does anyone recognize this pattern?

Case seems to be unissued and the leather is really supple.

I've emailed every single website and discussion board showing them pictures and nobody can positively identify this case.

Measures 48 inches (122cm) long by 11 inches (28cm) wide
