Does anyone have directions on how to convert a Czech helmet liner to look correct for the early war russian liner? Until I can find a size 3 russian helmet I am going to have to wear the czech helmet some one gave me. Christian

The first question is, how often do you plan to "display" this helmet at living history events? If the answer to that is you won't, then I wouldn't worry about it. The Czech liner is more comfortable to wear than any of the post SScH-36 liners, and if all you plan to use it for is tacticals, then don't sweat it.
If your goal is to display it, then just find a model 40 shell, and display it regardless of size.

Not for display, tactical use only. When I am at public stuff I just wear a soft cap, but I have seen way to much stuff flying through the air at tacticals to chance not having a helmet on. Christian
