Comrades,
A couple of weekend back Elements of the 87th Rifle Division were engaged in the Kiev Defensive Operation, building a hasty defensive position to delay Gitlerite lead elements from occupying an over looking position to a cross roads, which was to be an axis of retreat for the 87th Rifles until 1700 hrs on the Sunday.
