Sasha,
You are just jealous that you were not there with your mortar.
You are such a mortar slutt!
Actually here is the thread over on the Axis forum where some eye witnesses talk about the carnage.
I really like my 10 gr. nades sims. I will avoid this place.
Sincerely,
Dima

Sasha & Dima & All,
The majority of info I am reading is on the Yahoo Wehrmacht Group. And all I can say is holy cats. Sounds like a safety free for all.
Started off with 130gr grenade sims using rock pebbles for ballast. Which injured 2 German reenactors, one having to go to the hospital for an eye flush.
Then they were on the receiving end of firecrackers. Sounded like bricks of firecrackers they way it was posted. That made that german unit walk off the field.
Now comes out a story of the GI's using a potato gun for a bazooka and whacking a Kraut in the chest with one of the projectiles. No injury.
Add to it the post from the brit who says the germans fired a flare directly into their position. Missed a guy and bounced off a barn.
Folks. Safety safety safety. We need to nip it in the butt before someone comes home from an event dead.
Still wondering if it was an organized reenacting unit, or a bunch of folks with toys that just come out to play for this event.
Scary world out there. Isn't it?
