Tovarischi; I have been in contact with, and trying to convince the owner of Ironwood designs, a custom stock manufacturer, to produce replacement stocks of the original style for the M-38 carbine. www.ironwooddesigns.com/IWDsite/IWDHome.htmlAs many of you know, if you own, or have ever looked for an M-38, many of them were re-Arsenaled in the post GPW era, and put into M-44 carbine stocks. While that may be acceptable to the casual shooter/collector, those of us who try to portray period correct impressions need a correct stock, without the bayonet cutout for our earlier carbines. I ask, and encourage as many of you as possible, to contact Ironwood, and encourage them to at least research this possibility. Especially if you have an M-38 carbine. Spaceba Boridin
