Hello, I'm trying to building up my mother's impression and she wishes to portray a medic. I haven't come across too many articles about what sorts of items should be kept within the medic's bag besides for gauze and some basic medical tools. What would you guys recommend to be included?

Our unit medic, who is a certified EMT, and now serves as EOD in the U.S. Army, has done research, and he has determined that the Red Army had three grades of "medic". the first, or lowest was simply a "band aid" medic, IE they had very little training, and could only perform the most basic of first care. the items that they carried were aimed at their skill level, and capabilities.
The second level, was better trained, and as such carried more stuff, and would fall loosely into what we think of as a combat medic.
The third level were very well trained, many were medical students who were conscripted before they completed med school, so were practically doctors, and as such were equipped as such, and could carry out basic surgery in the field, set broken bones, etc, etc. These "medics" also often served in field hospitals as assistants to the regular surgeons.
The first thing you need to do, is determine what level of medic your Mom will be portraying. My suggestion would be gear this impression to her actual skills as a medic.

Good day. I would like to ask for documents or books from which to learn Soviet women before they went as sanitary at the front in World War II. Would like a manual written in which, for example, is treated as a broken leg, spinal pain, etc .. I am encouraged all materials on health services. Thank you in advance.
