In doing the research for my other post in this section, I discovered that the Soviets did issue "Good Conduct/Service" awards.
Prior to, and throughout the GPW era, the "Order of the Red Star" was awarded for 15 years of good conduct service. The "Order of the Red Banner" was awarded for 20 years of good conduct service. The "Order of Lenin" was awarded for 25 years of good conduct service.
Needless to say, each unit must decide how to make use of this information, but for long serving Frontis, this is an option to recognize that long service.
