The GAZ AA, was a licensed production from Ford. That is why it is, for all intents, and purposes the same thing.

Yes - and the same with the M1 "Emka" saloon car - it's a licenced copy of a 1933 Ford Fordor V8.
Same type of deal that McDonald Douglas did with the Hawker Harrier.

The trucks to look for are the 1930 and 1931 Ford AAs. Don't think the Russians ever got the 1932 AA sheet metal or put the flathead V8 in the GAZ AAs. Am getting started on mine: Victor
