Comrades: I came across this in my travels and studies on all things Frontovik: mechcorps.rkka.ru/vik-vistrel/Libros/Sergeant/sergeant.htmLots of neat detail shots of uniforms, gear, weapon etc. of the typical early war period soldat. This lead me to ask does anyone make a repro set of RKKA issued underclothing? I am wondering what is the most common type of shirt that fellow members of the worker's and peasants army wear under their Gymnastiorka? Many thanks! Lev

Comrade Lev, I know schuster makes underclothing for a great price. I have a photo I will send u of my undershirt.
Its just a thin cotton four button front tunic. Very period correct. No collar. and a lil long. To give you an idea.

Got the photo and that really helps me on what to look for. Never thought about the Indian stores, now I need to see where I can dig something like that up around Cincy. Has to be something like that around here, I'm thinking near UC......
Thanks again!
Lev

No problem...glad it helped. yeah i put it on and then put my sharovari on, and was like *wha...wait a second this is perfect* lol Since its longer, it makes a really good nightie style shirt. So when u untuck it it's super comfy to sleep in, and breathes very well.
