Joe, I belong to the 19th Guards Mechanized Brigade/8th Guards Mech. Corps. The 19th has members in KY, TN, IN, etc. Our sister brigades are out on the plains and in the TX/LA area. We just picked up a new recruit that lives in the opposite direction from you out of Indianapolis. Some of our guys will be at the Fort Benj.-Harrison "Stalingrad" event next month. For more info, you can look at our Yahoo Group at: groups.yahoo.com/group/19GMB/?yguid=104740929We were supposed to have been getting a new website, but the unit member that was working on it had some "real life" issues crop up. The 95th Rifles has members in OH and IN I think. The 416th (their CO is the owner of this website) has members in Illinois and maybe IN. HTH! YMMV! Yuri S.

Joe: Welcome back to the Red Army. Yuri's advice is good; the Fort Harrison event usually has most of the midwest PKKA units. It'll be a good place to check everyone out & find the unit that best fits what you want...They decided to call it "Defense of the Caucasus" this year, instead of "Stalingrad." Of course, Fort Ben doesn't look like either, so I guess the name is moot... -Matt www.95thrifles.org

Tovarisch Joe,
It is great to see another Frontovik here on the forum!!!
We will have a contingent of troops from the 416th attending the Eastern Front event at Ft. Ben in Indy on the weekend of March 5-7.
Our particular organization has approximately 23 members and is spread over 8 states here in the Mid-west.
We are always looking for new members as are the other units in the region.
So if you get a chance come out to Ft. Ben and help us put a name to a face.
Looking forward to meeting up with you at some point in the future.
In the mean time take care.
Sincerely,
Dima
