Greetings Frontoviks!
has anyone here tried to set up a rekruitment booth at a gun show and if so, has it been a worthwhile endeavor for you, and if not, what kind of reactions have you gotten from gun show crowds. If you have had any success rekruiting at guns shows, what techniques, props, etc, seemed to work the best for you?

Our group always sets up a table at the Tenn. Militaria Collectors Assoc. show. We really don't get any kind of "reaction" at all, especially since it is a militaria show. This show has always had, and welcomed, WWII reenactment units to set up displays, recruiting tables, etc. As to whether it has netted us very many members, I cannot say. It's not a huge show, and to be honest, most of the people there and most of the stuff sold seems to be the same every time! (In other words, it looks for all the world like the weapons for sale across from us this month will be the ones for sale at the tables behind us next Spring, kinda funny!)
