OK, lets!
I post this purely to set the record straight.
First is a post from a separate Yahoo Group from Mr. Conley Sluss, followed by my response to it.
I do not want to, nor do I desire any long pissing match, but since statements have been made about me that are categorically false, I feel it is necessary to respond, if for no other reason than to make the effort to clear my good name.
If Mr. Sluss is still on this forum, and can prove his accusations, then I welcome his attempt to do so, if he can not, then I ask that for the general good NO ONE post to this thread!

Think It is Time to STOP and See the massage these people are sending out - If you do not Drink - you are not Welcome and subject to Personal Insults - If you do not have past military service -you are not Welcome and subject to Personal Insults = if you happen to misspell a word -you are not Welcome and subject to Personal Insults./ now most people looking for a hobby -will just pass on this one ! / as there are troubled times and people need a hobby and one that the whole family can be part of ! ? I for one am feed up with this Crap and Lies like I was on the German forum by Ryan what BS ! and that is one reason I have pulled my information posts -I have lots of information I received from the Russians and more coming.- and on the full sized patterns the guys from SCA are happy to draw them up for me. un like some sad thy would send patterns for me to copy and put on PDF - Dima -if you did not have time to copy them - why did you not offer to send the originals to me to copy ? and send right back to you ? as it was for the good of the group. as I sent you emails and pms and phone number to call ! sorry guys this a HOBBY ?

Mr. Sluss "claims" that he has heard that I was disarmed at some event because of drunkenness. Well Mr. Sluss, where did you hear this? I ask because it is absolutely untrue. If you claim to have evidence of its truth, please present it, because I want to know WHO is slandering my name so I can deal with this slander appropriately.
You raise the FACT that in an active duty training exercise, where I was acting as a trainer/observer, and was wounded by an ROTC cadet who disobeyed several direct orders, that this somehow discredits me, or my point of view.
How do you figure that?
You raise the theory that somehow this may not be true. Fine believe what you wish, I don't care a wit what you believe.
You claim that you are the aggrieved party because you have received personal insults, but you conveniently ignore the FACT that you initiated every single one of the instances where someone responded to your vitriol, and anger simply by turning your own words on you.
You point out that you have been chastised for your poor spelling. Just so, poor spelling is a sign of ignorance. Now before you get angry, understand that ignorance is curable by education. I did raise the issue of your poor spelling, and syntax once, and did so purely with the intention of calling your attention to it, and attempting to offer you the opportunity to educate yourself, and learn to spell, and formulate your ideas, and sentences more correctly. Rather than take my post as an effort to HELP you, you choose to take it as a personal attack, and responded with deep vitriol. I did not, nor do I deserve such from you, or anyone.
You suggest that I, and others on here are drunkards, or at minimum heavy drinkers. You have never met me, and you know nothing about me save that which has been posted here, and on other forums/Yahoo Groups. So based on what evidence do you make such a claim? If you really knew anything, you would know that I am neither a drunkard, nor a heavy drinker. Yes, at events I do enjoy the company of my friends, and comrades, and there are alcoholic beverages involved, but never has anyone at ANY event seen me drunk, or out of control of my self or my faculties. So again, where do you come up with this slander?
Just so Mr. Sluss, this is a hobby. I do it because I enjoy it, and find comradeship with fellow re-enactors. You have created more rancor, and dissension in the few months you have been here, and elsewhere on Red Army forums, than I have known in several years. You may blame me, and that is certainly your prerogative, but is it not the least bit telling that such did not occur before your arrival, and during the two, or so weeks that you were pouting silently in your funk, that none occurred then either.
I do not wish to have you leave, because on occasion, you do have valuable information, or points of view, but the disquiet that often accompanies you, and your attitude do not make up for the small bits of value that you provide.
I do not post this to rile you up, nor to evoke any response, although I have no doubt that you will. I post this purely to respond to your "mis-information" , and challenge you to prove your claims about me.
