Tovarisch Stakhanov;
I think this may be "Hong Kong Keith" back in a new iteration.
IIRC he got into trouble with E-Gay, (over some of his German items, and the evil, dreaded swastikas) and went dark for awhile, but it looks like he is back.
Let us know how quickly you get your items, and what they are like (quality wise)

Sorry guys - will pass on Chinese made - to many US people out of work - to buy Chinese ! Valid point Conley, but no one in the U.S. makes this stuff. It either comes from the former Soviet Union, or it comes from the PRC, unless you plan on making it yourself, or hiring a seamstress to do it. Boridin

Talked to a local person -that made Civil War things for our old group - she is will to make a few things - Well there you go, you have a field repair seamstress. That would actually be a cool impression for living history events. Have her in Red Army uniform, set up under a tarp, or outside a tent, making repairs to uniforms, and gear, or making new items from bolts of fabric, or from scraps of old uniforms. Boridin

Sorry guys - will pass on chinese made - to many US people out of work - to buy chinese ! Same here Conley, I'm with Boridin, no one here makes it, all fo the current dealers I know of here in the US that are selling RKKA uniforms are importing the stufff. Also (as for me and my house so-to-speak) over 90% of the "I got a local seamstress to do it for us" stuff I saw during my CW days was a joke in terms of proper materials, period construction techniques, etc. I'll pass on the locals everytime unless they can show me that they have a working knowledge of historic textiles and sewing methods, etc. and how they have changed over the last 200 years. Conley, Well if she's that good . . . why is she not making gyms? If she was, for a reasonable price and with the same documentation as the guy in Hong Kong*, I wouldn't have had to buy one from China. As it is she's not making them, and someone else got my money. Simple. Hey, I was part of the first jean machine back over 20 years ago in the mid 80's. I understand that crowd better than you might realize. Yuri *He lays his repro next to an original: this is your brain, this is your brain on drugs kind of simple.
