Comrades,
It now appears that Military History Days in Charles City Iowa, traditionally held the last weekend in April, is no more. Word I got from Jerry & Linda was that the driving organizer behind the event, Matt, has moved on. With no one organizing the event on the local level, soliciting for donations, planning school day, and all the work he did to for the event, it looks like the event is toast.
Should someone step up and take the event I will pass word on to everyone. Otherwise it's da sveydana CC. You'll be missed. It was a fun little event.
The vodka powered timeline tour will have to find a new home.
