They have some very neat items and the quality is pretty good and I have dealt with them many times over the years.
Their customer service is somewhat lacking and so I have not done as much business with them in current times.

Yeah, their customer service SUCKS!
OK that was a bit over the top. Thomas did contact me, and he was having some problems with his puter, etc. I have gotten all my stuff, and it is great, as usual. So I take back my comment above.
I placed an order almost two weeks ago, plenty of time to receive it BEFORE the Thanksgiving holiday. I planned to use some of my "down time" to make repairs to my field gear, using the replacement buttons from OstFront. It is now a week AFTER thanksgiving, and not only have my buttons not arrived, OstFront isn't bothering to respond to my inquiries either.
Great Stuff, if you can get it!

I have had nothing but good luck out of them. Thomas is pretty good about posting updates, i.e.: I am sick, I am out of town, etc.
I believe, during the period in question on your order, he posted that his computer melted down, and that he was sick.

I just received a few items from him....yeah they were a little later than was expected but he did post some updates......were they front of russia, or grigsby late? hardly.....i would order from him again

Tovarischi,
I have not been impressed with their customer service.
I oredered one type of strap from them and they shipped a different one. When I brought it to their attention they didn't seem to be worried about it.
I get very particular about who I order from.

Has anyone heard anything about Ostfront.com ? the site is down and has disappeared entirely as has his ebay listings. What has happened to Thomas Salazar, its owner ? He had alot of interesting stuff posted.
