Just learned of this movie myself
I saw it available on a store site on E-bay
I saw also a bit of footage on youtube I think for a movie from Czechoslovakia called "Tank Brigade" that had alot of great footage in it... I would like a copy of that if anyone out there has it.

We have "They Fought for the Motherland" here at our house, but it is only one DVD, wonder what I am missing? Also, "Nameless Eminence" is good too, but just my opinion only.

My version has 2 disks, and alot of the 'extras' are on the second disk.
The last scene of the movie has either the commander of the sr sgt kissing the regimental banner after a speech by the CO I seem to remember. My version has parts of the film on both disks and extras on both discs. There may be a version that just has the movie and not so many extras. I seem to remember the extras included a long interview with the director and possibly onr or more of the actors, perhaps, some movie stills, filmographies, etc.
