I had to take a moment and express my deepest disappointment in the trend I am seeing on some of the other well known WWII forums.
It appears that it is perfectly fine for folks to spew forth all sorts of conjecture and dribble and just plain crap without any sort documentation being offered to support their statements. Heaven forbid any type of challenge being allowed by the Mods.
In some cases it amounts to downright lies and when the culprits are openly challenged to produce documentation the Mods come to the rescue and smite the mean nasty folks who are asking for the facts. Usually the Mods threaten to use the "nuke" option of banning a person when it appears that they are losing the debate. LOL!
Yep that is real mature and shows everyone just who and what those Mods are all about. Hehehehehe.
Well on this forum that will not happen. We allow all folks to come forward to pass along any and all useful information as well as ask sincere questions. This is a place for open exchange of ideas and information. This is not a cyber gulag like some other forums.
Those who come here to cause trouble, curse, attack or present junk information will be afforded every opportunity to make complete fools out of themselves without fear of being censored or edited by our Moderators.
Maybe someday the Mods on the other forums will get with the program and do what many other forums do and that is require folks to back up their postings with some facts. In the mean time they can have their romper room atmosphere. LOL!
