Tovarischi,
I wanted to let folks know about the the less than pleasant experience our unit had with Military Gun Supply and Wise Lite Arms down in Texas involving Semi-auto PPSH 41s and PPS 43s.
If I were to list the whole long messy set of circumstances it would take up many pages so will stick to the short list.
1. Wise Lite Arms has no quality control.
2. Military Gun Supply has no customer service.
Our unit has purchased 4 of the Semi auto PPSH 41s manufactured by Wise lite and sold by Military Gun Supply.
Talk about some major hassles!!!!! Run arounds!!!! Lies!!!!Lip Service!!!!!!!!!
Military Gun Supply will lie to you in a heart beat. They told me that they were only a distributor of the PPSH 41 and that Wise Lite is the manufacturer so any problems will need to be handled by Wise Lite. Well that is a lie. Military Gun Supply Contracted Wise Lite to manufacture the weapons but Military Gun Supply supplies the parts to Wise Lite in the first place. Nice try MGS!
Right out of the box the weapons had the following problems:
3 out of the 4 had the rear sight on back wards. 75%
2 out of the 4 had firing malfunctions. 50%
1 out of the four had a brand new barrel which was junk. 25%
1 out of the four had a stock with a crack clean though to the receiver. 25%
No Quality control!!!!
My rifle had the rear sight on back wards, firing malfunction and the cracked stock. One good hit on a tree or a rock and I would have had a multi piece stock. Plus it took an unbelievable amount of force to dismount the barrel out of the receiver. Far more than it should have. It required a vice and multiple heavy blows.
In the end(after 30 days of constant hounding) Wise Lite finally made good on the deal by taking care of the issues. The owner(Tony Wendling) called me and in my case they had to send a whole new rifle. Military Gun Supply kept ducking and running and doing nothing.
Military Gun Supply stiffed me the additional $25.00 transfer fee which goes to show what kind of outfit they are running. So instead of only $25,00 in transfer fees I had to pay $50.00 for problems which were not my fault.
I rode them hard via phone calls and emails otherwise it would have taken months instead of 30 days.
Some of our folks have been dealing with MGS and Wise Lite for nearly a year. That is just absurd.
The new one I have functions fine and I have fired 300 rounds of live through it from both drums and stick mags. And after blank adapting it I have fired 500 rounds through the Little lovely just fine. I have 1500 blanks in reserve to use at upcoming events. I realize that I have many more to make in order to feed this hungry machine.
One of our members is on his second PPS 43 and it doesn't function properly either.
So if you really want none of these semi-auto PPSHs or PPS 43s then be prepared to be a real arse in order to get a weapon which functions and is devoid of flaws.
Otherwise they will dink with you for as long as you will let them.
This will be my first and last purchase from either Wise Lite or Military Gun Supply.
Good luck.
Sincerely,
Dima
