Here's more information for this event.
Jay ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Directions:
Grenada directions: Take I-55 to Grenada exit (Scenic Route 8)-- proceed through town a few miles until you see the brown Grenada Lake sign on your right (Route 333 I think).
Turn LEFT in front of a forked road (sporting goods store in middle, green roof). Road goes up a hill. Head up the hill a short distance until you see the big wooden Grenada State Park sign.
Turn LEFT again. Take the left hand dog leg road (camping, RV sign) as you wind through the route-- it will take you to the dam. Drive across the dam road-- at the end, you will see a WWII sign to your left at base of road/frontage road.
Turn LEFT again on frontage road, follow short distance to second RIGHT dirt road. There you are.
Parking is along entrance road. Registration is at gate.
Registration starts NOON FRIDAY NOV 17. You can start setting up camps after registering. Glen Witham, Don Johnson and I will help direct you to your areas. I will also post a link to registration forms asap. You do not have to pre-register, but if you would give us a shout-out and let us know about how many you are bringing, that would be helpful. You can email me off list at info@wephaus.com or Don at brittww2@aol.com.
Scenario: West Wall, circa late fall/winter 1944. No good impression will be turned away, animal, mineral or vegetable.
Let me know if there any other questions. We're happy to be of help.
Looking forward to seeing you all there-- we're hoping for a good turn-out, but mostly, a lot of fun, good comradeship and tall war stories to tell after the battle,
Lauren
