This a living history time line event with a small Russian WWII presence. I'll post the website as soon as I can track it down.
And here is that website: www.audrain.org/history_town.html
Here is the info:
Saturday’s battle reenactments will be at 11am (Wild West), 1pm (Civil War), 3pm (WWII). A totally new addition to the WALK BACK IN TIME! this year is an 1800s style baseball game that we’ve tentatively scheduled to begin at 2pm on Sunday. Sunday’s battle reenactments are scheduled for 12:00 pm (WWII), 12:40 pm (Civil War), 1:20 pm (Wild West).
Reenactor parking, this year, will be along the streets or POSSIBLY at the Simmons Stables, two blocks south, and a shuttle service will be available. We’ll let you know if this parking area will be available.
Those interested in making a presentation during the Friday school-day or during the Saturday night candlelight tours should contact the Historical Society ahead of time - scheduling is vital. By the way, the candlelight tours will have eight groups of 25 each.
Friday night’s Appomattox reenactment, 6pm-8pm, now has General Lee, General Grant and Colonel Marshall. We need eight Union officers. Let us know if you can help.
