I can find nowhere these badges/awards listed. one is a medallion of lenin below a small red pinback bar, brass.

the other is lenin standing atop a pedestal with banner etc. facing to his right.

any ideas please let me know, I know I idint give much info...

Are they medals/awards or one of the numerous pins the soviets issued?

Medals, Orders and Awards are well detailed on this site: www.soviet-awards.com/

If there are just pins, then I don't know of any definitive source on them. It would take a library to house such a resource with the number of pins out there. LOL

Sorry I couldn't help you more. I would have some one of russian nationality from the USSR time period look at them. They might recognize them. Have you translated them?

Got to love the fact the RKKA did give an order named after a Czarist General.

Still as the Russian Army still says "Czars come and go, Presidents come and go; only Suvorov remains forever."

Does anyone know if an RKKA soldat would have worn awards won as a civilian like a blood donor or labor award on their dress of field gynasterka ?

That would depend more on his specific unit, and what his duty within that unit was. I do not believe there was a specific military wide policy regarding such devices.

I do know that party issued items, such as Komsomol awards, and party awards, not only were allowed, but encouraged to demonstrate the value of party membership.
