Sunglasses, and tinted goggles

What policy does your unit have on sunglasses, or tinted goggles?

We go with the policy, that you can only wear period, or period style eyewear, but if you have, or can get proper period, or style sunglasses, or tinted goggles, they are permissible.

On that note for all who wish to see there are still some period issue sunglasses

I would use them as a gude to finding other ones as I am sure they are a bit too brittle
to wear in the field.

For goggles, the only pair I have that were tinted were the German Zeiss ones
I got from the 'guide a couple years ago, or the swiss type gebirg ski goggles.
Not sure if the soviets ever issued tinted goggles but no doubt all armies used captured
items as needs be.
