Comrades, You have got to try this at least once.... ;D likely like Comrades that did back in the day, only once in training before they decided to hose pipe From the hip gripping the bi-pod in the left hand, yelling something very rude.... (From Comrade sasha's Elint intercepts.) many thanks Comrade.

If I may suggest an alternative method.
It will require at least two troops.
The weapon operator handles the weapon in more, or less a normal manner. The A-Gunner (Assistant Gunner) holds the front of the weapon up, by holding one of the bipod legs in each hand, and elevating the weapon over his head. Height adjustment is made by lifting, or lowering the bipod. This method, (which I was taught in the U.S. Army Master Machine Gunners school) was how we engaged helicopters with an M-60 GPMG, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work just as well for a DP-28 series weapon.
If you have an ammo bearer, he can be supplying pans to the gunner. Making a pan change on the fly (as it were) is accomplished by having the gunner drop the butt of the weapon (requiring the A-gunner to hold the bipod legs), and swapping out the pan while the weapon is hanging over the AG's back.
Besides, it looks super cool, especially if you do it at an airshow, when a fascist plane flies by.

Boridin A Good tried method Comrade, however if it is not authorised by a Red Army Manual on your head be it....

Tovarisch;
When a flying fascist dog is attacking, I will defend myself, and my troops by whatever means I have at my disposal. If that means that I have to answer for my actions to a committee for state security, I will do so by pointing out that I survived, and the fascist did not, manual, or no manual.

Comrades, The Complex is self supporting so you can balance the DP weapon system on it, it looks rather good as a display gag and an important Air Defence addition to the Battle Position/Marching Camp.
Next time we will get it closer to the diagram, ( have the weapon system on the same axis as the Greatcoat).
