Tovarischi,
Well this coming weekend is the annual WWII weekend.
This is a large event with lots of toys and units to visit with.
Pre-registration was required to attend so if you didn't do that then you are out of luck.
The public battles are Western Front only but there are skirmishes for other theaters during the weekend in other parts of the park.
Normally I would be attending this event as GI and serving with my pards in the 106th CRS. However, I am currently using this season to link up with the various RKKA units to help establish better lines of commo.
My daughters will be with me to get use to the WWII aspect of re-enacting. They are old hands to ACW and Span-AM.
I will have the usual props including my bicycle, farb wire plus my period style soccer (football) ball. Perhaps my hedgehog as well. Maybe a Spanish rider.
My squad tent will be the one with the green camouflage net over it and a dark green fly in front of it.
