Just a reminder to all of my comrades that the MVPA is holding its national convention in Evansville, IN this next week, Aug. 5th-8th (or maybe 9th?) If you're anywhere close, it would probably be worth your while to drop in if vehicles are your thing. Vladimir and I both plan on attending at least Friday, maybe Saturday too. We both look forward to visiting with our 19th GMB comrade Katya, and seeing the new Ba-64 up close.
C'mon down!
Yuri

Tovarischi,
I want to go so bad but I have a family reunion this weekend so that shoots that idea and throws it into the ditch.
You see if my priorities were different I could put re-enacting first then family. LOL!
Have fun without me if that is possible. LOL!
Sincerely,
Dima

Comrade Dima! You were missed, but I did get some photos of Katya's initial mock-up of the Ba-64b. Other than that, there wasn't a lot to see there unless you're in love with U.S. stuff. Bell & Blade was there and took most of my money. Another guy had "Oddball" t-shirts for sale, that got the rest. Yuri

Yuri,
I love all military vehicles so it would have been a good time for me.
I am looking forward to seeing the photos.
I am looking forward to September and the next Mariongrad. I will bring tools for improving trenches.
I hope to bring more folks from the 416th to take part and see the site.
Sincerely,
Dima
