Komrades, Mark your calendars for the Mariongrad tactical on September 18th and 19th. Friday night is usually a great period meal for the RKKA troops. Saturday morning sees the tactical from roughly 0830 to 1500 or 1600 hrs.

I hope to see more folks show up, we put this on three times a year: Sept., Jan., and May.

Just got back from working on our section of the trenches again. Things on our end are looking good. I hope the Germans are ready. September is not far off folks, please give Don King at genghisdon@windstream.net or Duane Rose at ROSESSG325@cs.com a shout if you can come. Saturday should prove to be a LOT of fun, with plenty of action. Can't reveal anymore about the scenario than that.  Warren |

Wanted to let everyone know that it is less than a month till the September Mariongrad event.
If you think you would like to go, please e-mail Don King at the e-mail address above.
Don King and Duane Rose have worked out some great scenarios that should provide both sides with plenty of action. I think it has the potential to be a great deal of fun.
I'm heading up next weekend to work on the site.

I will be at the work weekend this weekend. I am looking forward to getting some improvements done on the 416th's section of the trenches and get the mortar pit ready for action.

Wonderful Comrade!!! We look forward to working and having a great time with you and the 416th this weekend. Yesterday while shopping for the family larder, Vladimir spied a large sausage and he mentioned that perhaps he should have gotten it for you. Just a quick, last minute update:
Military deployments, job layoffs, serious family illnesses, work in general, etc. have cut some of our number in the 19th GMB. As a result, there might not be a period meal on Friday night as we have always done in the past. Come prepared to feed yourself just in case.
Hope to see many old, and some new friends there!
