Proper fabric

Comrades;

Does anyone have a resource for proper war time style (green) fabric for making small items, repairing, or even making ones own uniform?

I am also looking for the rough, summer weight mustard (sand) colored fabric.

It depends on what you are trying to make or repair.

Uniform pieces are not so bad due to the variety of fabrics used(domestic & foreign). There are still fabrics(twills and such) available at local stores to use for uniforms.

The web gear and canvas items are a bit tricker.

I track down old junk pieces of RKKA or other slavic web and canvas gear and salvage what I can out of them to use on serviceable items.
