We have formed our post war red army unit. First event will be a timeline event in Iowa Falls last weekend of June. Should be fun fun fun. Also long as the rest of my gear arrives and it hasn't been converted to the WWII pattern stuff. LOL

Never thought I'd have to worry about that.

I am loving this postwar stuff. I got my tropical tunic and it rocks! So much better than WWII and way better than those wool uniforms for U.S. Civil War. And I haven't paid more than $20 for a tunic. ;D

Now I need to work on getting into more events in the area. Something I had to do with soviet WWII. I figure there are enough time line events. I can just flip a coin as whether to do WWII or Cold War. Hehehehe

Got a few things to track down yet. I got skunked on a afghani issue 6 pocket uniform on ebay. But I see Trident has them. Also waiting to get my boots, but that's ok. Need a few more pieces of minor insignia too.

Have Kalishnikov, will travel. LOL

I hear there's an Afghan VDV unit in nearby SC, but I haven't gotten in contact with them. I've been meaning to get some pictures of my various impressions in the hopes of starting an "offbeat impression contest" on one of the other forums. If so I'll post some of my Motor rifles 1970's and Afghanistan VDV 1980's impressions. I don't really have any questions about any gear but if there's anything wrong hopefully someone will call me out on it.
