Tovarischi;
I am probably going to rue this day, but I have been saving up for months, and since the only ones left are the Royal Tiger Imports, Polish semi auto PPs-43 pistols, I ordered one today.
Pray for me brothers!

Now have the weapon.
Took it to a buddy who is a gunsmith/machinist, and he thinks that both the firing pin, and the hammer are over hardened, hence the breakage issues.
He is going to re-anneal them, to de-crystalize, and soften the steel.
Will let you know how that works.

I have already broken and replaced the forward firing pin on my PPS-43. Otherwise, it fires blank ammo like a champ.

I have had the hammer annealed, and cleaned out the firing pin channel, and have had no problems with either.
I also now know how to anneal the hammer, so can do it for my guys, rather than pay someone else to do it.
