Tovarischi; Here are pictures of the other M-26 Adrian that I got from Mike in St. Petersburg. This one had been re-issued to a fire brigade, as it was painted blue, and orange on the outside. They had actually removed the splinter shield, and painted it focal orange, then replaced it using a different type of rivet. I bead blasted it, and re did it up, back to Red Army standard, as an enlisted kaska. This first set of pictures are of the kaska as I received it.

I have been encouraged by one of my troops, to tell you all, that I do restorations, if you want/need such a service.
I will restore your helmet back to (as close as possible) an original Red Army (or other branch if you prefer) issue style/condition.
If you have a specific request, I will try to match your request.

May call on you at some time if and when I/we get our hands on something worthy of restoration. What is your, or the group's, opinion on the Clawson book on Soviet helmets?
